Bjorn Forfang has over 25 years of experience in global capital markets, with specific expertise in hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, banking and management consulting.

Before launching Erigo, Bjorn was the Deputy CEO with CFA Institute, the premier global association for investment management professionals promoting corporate governance, excellence in financial education and the highest ethical and professional standards in the financial industry.  He was also a Managing Director and Global Head of Client Relationships with UBS Investment Bank where he managed and worked with some of the financial industry’s largest and most complex alternatives managers at Founder, CEO and CIO level.  Prior to UBS, Bjorn was a Managing Director and Global Head of Clients at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, and Principal at Greenwich Associates. He started his financial career after serving as a senior legal officer with the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oslo. He relocated to New York to become Deputy Trade Commissioner of Norway to the United States.

He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a JD with honors from the University of Oslo and is a CFA Charterholder.
