Here are some of the selective alternative investment opportunities we’re currently working on:
High Alpha India Equities
An independent long-only India equities manager, founded in 2018 by one of the most prominent equity investors in India. The manager has a fundamental, research-driven, bottom-up investment process that has delivered exceptional alpha during its four-year existence. The manager offers two main strategies: a small/mid-cap strategy and an all-cap strategy supported by a 45-person on-the-ground team in India. The fund employs a buy-and-hold approach with average holding period of 3-5 years with strict position and sector limits.
Structured Credit “Dislocation” Fund
A “Dislocation Fund” that will seek to invest across the capital structure and all sub-sectors of the structured credit market at significantly discounted levels. The opportunity set will be mainly focused on residential and commercial credit related securities, ABS, and CLOs. Numerous factors like rising inflation, central bank withdrawal of liquidity, geopolitical tension and deglobalization, the global energy crisis, and supply chain disruption lead the manager to believe a market dislocation across structured products is highly possible. The GP has determined readily observable thresholds to define the entry points for dislocated investments.
European Equity Capital Markets Strategy
An equity long-short market neutral hedge fund, specializing in companies going through equity capital markets (ECM) events in EMEA. The investment team sources, selects, and executes ECM events (IPOs, follow-ons, blocks, etc.) through differentiated due diligence and high level of engagement with companies, owners, and advisors. The team has unparalleled experience and a track record in European capital markets having deployed more than $7 billion of capital across 300+ transactions over the past six years.
