Neil Collins has over 30 years of experience in the alternative investment industry, with specific expertise in hedge funds, private equity, private credit and real estate strategies for both institutional and private investors.

Before launching Erigo, Neil was a senior executive holding Global Head of Marketing positions for UBS Hedge Fund Solutions, one of the largest multi-manager hedge fund platforms; and The Carlyle Group’s Solutions business which spanned private equity, hedge funds and real estate. He also held Managing Director positions at Melody Capital Partners, a New York-based private credit firm and Strategic Value Partners, a Greenwich CT based distressed debt firm; and was a partner of the Quellos Group (later BlackRock Alternative Advisors), having started his career as a derivative trader for O’Connor and Associates.

He holds a BA cum laude in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Claremont McKenna College. In 2002 Mr. Collins helped establish Ashesi University, a pan-African liberal arts college in Ghana. He continues to serve on its board, as well as on the investment, audit and risk committees, and served as Treasurer for its first decade.
